From the Lydiard Foundation clinic in Victoria, BC, instructor Nobby Hashizume demonstrates 50/50m sharpening workout, which consists of running 50m full out alternating 50m easy or float – no stopping – until too fatigued to continue. This workout should be done in advance of racing and only near the end of the training cycle.
