Aaron Brown of Toronto broke the Canadian 200m record today at the NCAA West Championships as he won this qualifier with 20.16(0.5) breaking the 1991 mark set by Atlee Mahorn in Tokyo at the 1991 IAAF World Championships by 0.01 seconds. The University of Southern California senior also moved to the top of the Canadian list with the fastest time in the 100m with his 10.12(0.80) on Friday as he qualified for the NCAA finals in Eugene, Oregon that take place from June 11th to 14th.

Brown competed in the 2012 London Olympic Games as well as the 2013 IAAF World Track and Field Championships that took place in Moscow, Russia.
