Geoff Dunbrack of Whitehorse, YK, scraped his windshield in freezing temperatures to get to the airport.

He flew to Victoria to take in the Royal Victoria Marathon, where the temperatures were up as high as 26 degrees on the day. He did well for someone new to marathon running and only in his third race over the distance, finishing fifth in the time of 2:35:36.

Considering that he proved he can run in warm temperatures, Hawaii is likely next.
