Kicking off 2020, the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon event weekend gives runners a tri-city journey that will lead them through scenic Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, Arizona. Warm up in the desert by experiencing the beautiful Southwestern cities with a spectacular backdrop of Camelback Mountain. The Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon is an early season favorite that features a flat terrain; perfect for setting that new PR.

The musically-themed running event will start on Saturday with the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K presented by Brooks and continues along with a KiDS ROCK event. The event continues Sunday with the marathon, half marathon and 10K distances, concluded by a celebratory headliner concert that embraces the Southwestern music scene. Runners can choose to participate in the “Remix Challenge” and earn a bonus third medal by running in both the 5K presented by Brooks on Saturday and any distance on Sunday.

To celebrate Global Running Day on Wednesday, June 5, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series along with Sole Sports will be hosting a meet up in the Scottsdale area. Runners or those looking to get started are encouraged to come out to McFate Brewing in Scottsdale. Additionally, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series will be hosting a two-mile, four-mile and six-mile fun run/walk with event giveaways.
