Global Sports Communications, an athlete management company works with 150 athletes from at least 20 countries. Their medal tally at the 2017 London IAAF World Track and Field Championships – if they were a nation – would have finished second, behind only the U.S.
The tally has been made: five gold, six silver and four bronze medals were collected by Global Sports athletes over the 10-day meet.
According to the agency, “London proved to be the perfect backdrop of so many moments of glory as well as the inevitable broken dreams. A sold out stadium with cheering fans almost every single day, as well as a fantastic job by all of the volunteers and members of the organization hosting the event, made this World Championship one to remember for a long time to come.”
