Muir will double and is scheduled to race both the 800m as well as the 1500m events. McColgan will run the 5000m and 10,000m events.
Pollard, in his presentation speech said that he is as equally as proud of his veterans and first-time Olympians. “More often than not considering our population, we punch above our weight,” he said.

Butchart under investigation
Butchart allegedly said he changed the date on his COVID-19 test to get back in the country. He changed a previous PCR test after a delay in getting results back prior to his flight to the UK.
He apparently refutes this assertion, however, is being investigated for speaking about the alleged forgery during a podcast.
He claims that he was just speaking about how he has heard of other athletes who had to alter documents.
