Kenyans Stellah Barsosio and Gloria Kite Chebiwott have been suspended by the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya.
For Chebiwott, she tested positive in May last year for the following cocktail of banned substances: S1.1. Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS)/Androsterone, Adiols, Pregnanediol11-ketoetiocholanolone, Etiocholanolone (Etio), testosterone, 5a-androstanediol, and 15 epitestosterone.

The 29-year-old Barsosio tested positive for trimetazidine.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibits trimetazidine under the category of hormone and metabolic modulators and its use is prohibited at all times in-and-out-of-competition. It is typically prescribed to treat angina.
Barsosio may be best known for her marathon win and personal best of 2:22:08, which she acheived at the 2021 Rotterdam Marathon.
The 25-year-old Kite Chebiwott, holds a personal best of 8:29.91 in the 3000m and 14:49.22 over the 5000m distance events. Her 10K road best may be her fastest performance at 30:26 from Valencia in 2019.
