Rozlyn Boutin, a resident physician at the Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, won the 2022 Royal Victoria Marathon.
She is training with Vanguard Athletics Club under Coach Josh Seifarth. He is the coach and husband of Tokyo Olympian Dayna Pidhoresky.
The Royal Victoria Marathon was warm, with no clouds but no wind either.
Boutin moved up from third, to second and eventually passed former winner Andrea Lee at the 26K mark to take the lead for the rest of the race.
