Ruby Broadbent from Victoria, BC with The Speed Project, won the 2022 BC Cross Country Championships in the U18 age group. She will be deciding by the end of October which university she will be attending.
In contention are the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia, and Oregon State, who made a “very good offer,” and treated her well during the recruitment process.
She will be competing in the BC High School Cross Country Championships in Victoria on Nov. 5 as well as the National Cross Country Championships taking place in Ottawa, Ontario on November 26.
