The world 400m champion from Bahrain, Salwa Eid Naser, has very narrowly escaped a suspension due to missed doping tests.

The case was dismissed by a World Athletics tribunal and announced by the Athletics Integrity Unit. It was revealed that the doping control officer knocked on a storage unit door rather than Naser’s apartment door The tester was confused as to where her apartment door was.
“This was a case very much on the borderline,” according to the report.
The 22-year-old was provisionally suspended in June and charged with failing to meet whereabouts criteria
Naser won the 2019 Doha World Athletics Championships 400m event in the time of 48.14 seconds, which is the third-fastest performance all-time.
She missed three drug tests in a 12-month span, which warrants a suspension.
“I’ve never been a cheat. I will never be,” Naser said in June. “I only missed three drug tests, which is normal. It happens. It can happen to anybody. I don’t want people to get confused in all this because I would never cheat.
