Taryn O’Neill of Lake Country, BC won the U20 category of the 2019 Canadian Cross Country Championships.
She was just coming off of the NCAA championships, the week prior.
She first competed for Villanova, then transferred to Northern Arizona University.
In this race, she said that she enjoyed the hay bales, but they were tough to run over for the final lap.
She will red shirt the indoor season and then gear up for a big outdoor season in the spring of 2020.
