Canadian performances this weekend at the
CIS and
NCAA Championships, notably
Shawn Barber of Toronto, Ont., won gold at the NCAA Championships in the pole vault with a new Canadian Record of 5.91-metres, good for second on the 2015 IAAF Top List. Also at the NCAA Championships
Andre De Grasse of Markham, Ont., won silver in a Canadian Record time of 20.26-seconds in the 200-metres, second on the 2015 IAAF Top List and fifth all-time.In Japan
Rachel Seaman of Peterborough, Ont., set a new Canadian Record in the 20-kilometres race walk with a time of 1:29:54 finishing in third place.
