American sprinter Erriyon Knighton tested positive for the performance enhancer trenbolone during an out-of-competition test in March, according to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). USADA’s arbitration panel determined the substance was ingested from contaminated meat. This is the same reason used by Shelby Houlihan when she claimed that her positive test came from contaminated meat she digested from a burrito.

Knighton is the youngest individual sprinter to earn a World Championship medal, where he won silver in Budapest and bronze in Eugene, respectively. He clocked a 200m final in 19.75 seconds. He now owns a personal best of 19.49 seconds.
He finished fourth in the Tokyo and Paris Olympic 200m finals.
Knighton is currently age 20.
The World Anti-Doping Agency also reserves the right to challenge USADA on the Knighton case.
