He is training for a spring marathon and the New York Half Marathon in March.
The 30-year-old is training in Victoria for two months to avoid the snow of Southern Ontario. Two weeks prior, he ran an 8K road race setting a new course record of 23:10 at the BC 8K Road Race Championships in the Harriers Pioneer 8K.
Woodfine has run the marathon as fast as 2:10:51 and the half-marathon in 63:19. He will be looking to improve upon both times in 2022.
