The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has postponed Alberto Salazar’s appeal of his ban for allegedly contravening anti-doping laws. The postponement is caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The CAS has rescheduled the hearing to the dates of March 3 to 12.
The CAS plans to hold in-person hearings have been affected by tighter travel restrictions.
Salazar and endocrinologist Dr. JeffreyBrown were banned by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) in October 2019 during the Doha World Athletics Championships.
Salazar was the head coach at the Nike Oregon Project (NOP) which has since been dissolved. He denies the allegations and charges stemming from a USADA-led six-year investigation, which included testimony from Olympian Kara Goucher, coach Steve Magness and several other athletes.
