![]() Geoffrey Kamworor, known as “a man for all surfaces”, secured the 2014 and the 2016 World Half Marathon titles, won the 2015 and 2017 World Cross Country Champions and is the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon champion. “I think my ability to focus during the major championships is a gift. Another reason is my self-discipline, which has added real value to my career.” Geoffrey has high ambitions for the future. “The world half is a special competition and I would like to go on to win as many as possible.” The Kenyan trains and lives in Kaptagat, Kenya, where he trains alongside a world-class group of athletes led by Eliud Kipchoge, coached by Patrick Sang. NN Running Team athletes Zeineba Yimber (Ethiopia) and Desi Jisa (Bahrain) finished respectively in fifth and seventh position in the women’s race. Romanian Ancuta Bobocel was the second European to cross the finish line in 15th position. |
