A sold-out field of more than 3000 runners will take to the streets in the Under Armour Eastside 10k on Saturday, September 15, featuring some of Canada’s top distance runners, including returning champs, Geoff Martinson and Natasha Wodak.
Geoff Martinson will try to defend his title competing against Mile 2 Marathon coaches, Rob Watson and former winner Dylan Wykes. Other notables include Tristan Woodfine, who currently holds 2nd place in the Canada Running Series points standings, 2018 Olympian Luc Bruchet and current Canadian Marathon champion, Trevor Hofbauer. On the women’s side, Dayna Pidhoresky will return to challenge Wodak as well as 2016 winner Leslie Sexton.

To add to the excitement, runners will try to “kill the hill” in an all out 700 metre sprint starting on Dundas and ending at the top of Pandora Park for a chance at some amazing prizes from Under Armour.
Now in its sixth year, the race features a route through the downtown eastside that starts and finishes at the Woodward’s Building. The course works its way East towards Nanaimo St. before returning to the Woodward’s Building via Powell St. The event is proud to be working with three Eastside charities this year; the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, PHS Community Services Society, and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
