The 2025 Nanjing World Athletics Championships are coming this summer, and national championships are taking place for athletes to qualify in their respective events.
The capital of Canada, Ottawa, will play host to the Canadian Track & Field Championships.

“For some athletes competing at the 2025 Canadian Track & Field Championships Presented by Bell, the road to Worlds runs through Ottawa. For the U20 and para-athletes converging on the nation’s capital will look to add an unending title to their name: Canadian Champion,” reads the Athletics Canada press release.
“The process of getting their spot on the starting line, in the throwing ring, or on the field starts today, as registration opens for athletes, coaches, media, and integrated support team (IST) members today.”
This year’s event runs from Wednesday, July 30 to Sunday, August 3 at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.
