Zoe Hamel won the 2024 Royal Victoria Marathon in the time of 2:47:48. The performance represents a new personal best and it is her first win. She finished third last year in 2:52:38. Hamel is from France, living in Victoria. The 32-year-old is coached by Jim Finlayson, who is also Cameron Levins’ coach.
Hamel played NCAA Div. 1 tennis for UNC Asheville. She now teaches at Pearson College outside of Victoria, BC in Metchosin.
