The kid has done it again. 17-year-old Gout Gout has secured a slice of history becoming the second fastest Under 20 man in history over 200m in all conditions, gliding to a time of 19.84 (+2.2) to win the Australian 200m title!

Gout, just 17, temporarily was the second-fastest under-20 athlete over that distance. American Erriyon Knighton’s 19.49 seconds from the 2022 LSU Invitational is ahead of Gout.
Officials announced that a wind assistance of +2.2 disqualified the run.
The run is 0.2 secs faster than his own national record.
“Top speed is my gift. I used it, took off, and I got sub-20, so I couldn’t be happier,” said Gout, who ran a legal 20.21 during the heats.
