Feron Wallace from Kamloops finished second in the junior girls race at the 2022 BC High School Cross Country Championships.
She came back from fifth place midway through the race to finish behind only Alexa Dow.
Wallace is just 14 years of age. She also plays basketball and sees running as great cross-training for the roundball game.
