Greece’s Katerina Stefanidi won the women’s edition of the World Athletics Ultimate Garden Clash on Saturday. At a local track in Athens, she cleared the pole vault bar a total of 34 times within the half-hour timespan. She also cleared the height of 4.00-metres.

It was nearly 40C.

The 30-year-old finished ahead of American Katie Nageotte, who cleared 30 times in Marietta, Georgia. It was also hot for her.

Canada’s Commonwealth Games gold medallist Alysha Newman cleared 21 times in Bolton, Ontario.

The event was streamed live as was the men’s event on May 3rd.

The men’s Ultimate Garden Clash attracted more than 250,000 live viewers globally, with more than one million people watching within the next two days.
