The 13-meet series, the Wanda Diamond League is coming to a close starting Wednesday, September 8. The finale, taking place in Zurich, Switzerland is a two-day event offering all Tokyo Olympic gold medallists. The world’s finest athletes will compete for the Diamond Trophy and cash. 

The first seven champions will be crowned at the city event on Sechseläutenplatz on Wednesday evening, with Hellen Obiri and Ryan Crouser among the title hopefuls. Ôn Thursday night, the Letzigrund Stadium will host Elaine Thompson-Herah, Mondo Duplantis, and Karsten Warholm, as they look to crown their season with another global title. 

Wednesday’s action begins at 16.55 local time (GMT+2).
