Makenna Fitzgerald of Valgary won the 2024 Times COlonist 10K in the time of 30:48, which is a big new personal best for her. She is training toward the Ottawa 10K and the Canadian Half Marathon Championships that are taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba this summer.
She enjoyed the “pretty course,” and the well-run event.
