The 2024 Comox Valley RV Half Marathon took place on Sunday, March 24.
Olympian Natasha Wodak and Dayna Pidhoresky of Greater Vancouver both ran faster than the previous course record. Wodak won in the time of 1:11:52. Both will be running the Hamburg Marathon on April 28 in an attempt to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
They both need to run faster than 2:26:50.
The men’s winner was Cowichan Valley’s Dusty Spiller in the time of 1;09:08. A record 681 runners completed the race under sunny skies and mild temperatures in Courtenay, BC.
