Athletics Kenya has named their teams for the 2021 World Relays. Included are athletes competing in the men’s and women’s 4x200m and 4x400m, mixed 4x400m, 2x2x400m, and shuttle hurdles relay. The Relays will take place in Silesian Stadium in Chorzow, Poland on May 1 and 2.

SHOESTRINGS: Due to Covid-19 concerns Australia has pulled out of World Relays. There are 42 teams including the Athletics Refugee Team known as ART. The World Athletics logo and flag identify the ART team.
Chorzow was named the meet site in August of 2019 by World Athletics.
This edition will be fifth edition of the Relays. Which started in 2014 and go every other year. The event was held for three editions in the Bahamas, however, they decided to no longer host the event. World Athletics moved the meet to Yokohama, Japan in 2019 and now to Poland.
Chorzow is in the Silesia region is located in south-central area of Poland.
Poland has a successful history of hosting meets. Recently the World U-18 and World U-20 Championships, World Cross Country, and the World Indoor Championships as well as the World Half Marathon Championships.
