Jamaican, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, sprinted to victory in the 100m event at the Doha Diamond League meet on Friday
The four-time world champion won in the time of 10.84. She is a the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympic Games champion.
The week prior, the 34-year-old finished in fourth place at Gateshead, UK in inclement weather. Doha’s warm temperatures were more to her liking.
Doha is the second meet in the 13-meet Diamond League. There are five more Diamond League meets before the Tokyo Olympics begin on July 23.

The next meet takes place June 10 in Rome, Italy.
Doha Delivers six worlds leads
The menās 400m had been billed as a showdown between reigning Diamond League champion Norman and fellow American Fred Kerley and they didnāt disappoint.
Norman, who really attacked the first 100m, clocked a quick 44.27 for the win – the fastest time in the world this year and continuing his unbeaten run this year so far – with world silver medallist Anthony Zambrano (Columbia) coming through in second (44.57) and Kerley in third (44.60). In an exceptionally strong field, 2012 Olympic champion Kirani James (Grenada) finished fourth (44.61).
āI was happy to be back here…and Iām happy with the progress Iāve made,ā said Norman, who said he was disappointed with his previous performance in Doha (World Championships). āI give a lot of credit to my coach for everything he does for me. We are on the right path.ā
