Archana Laxman Jadhav from India has been suspended for four years for the presence of oxandrolone.
The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) announced the suspension on March 18. Race results are annulled from Dec.15, 2024.
Jadhav submitted a test at the Bajaj Allianz Pune Half Marathon in Pune, India on Dec. 15.
The 20-year-old had previously competed in the Delhi Half Marathon in October 2024 in the elite Indian women’s race, finishing fourth with a time of 1:20.21
“The AIU has provisionally suspended Archana Laxman Jadhav (India) for Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (Oxandrolone),” AIU posted the development on X on Tuesday night but did not provide the details of the failed test.
