Two-time 800-metre European Track and Field Championships gold medallist Nataliya Krol has tested positive for the masking agent and diuretic hydrochlorothiazide.

The 25-year-old will be provisionally suspended for up to four years.

She won the Euros in 2018 in Berlin and 2016 in Amsterdam.

The Ukrainian competed in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and was eliminated during the semis.

She owns a personal best of 1:58.60 in the 800m and 4:06.29 in the 1500m. She is a seven-time national champion in the two events.
