American sprinter, Fred Kerley, was recently suspended from competing for missing three tests in 12 months. Missing the tests is equal to testing positive for a banned substance.

He was already in trouble, having twice been arrested within four months, once for domestic violence and the other time for a physical altercation with police and threatening violence.

The 30-year-old two-time Olympic medallist is on the outs with the sport. So, the obvious choice is to go to the dark side, the Enhanced Games.

This will be the end of his mainstream career.

Kerley took bronze and silver in the 100m sprints during the Paris and Tokyo Olympic Games, respectively. He is a five-time world championships medallist with three gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

He set his 100m personal best in 2022 during the Eugene Diamond League meet, clocking 9.76 seconds.

The Enhanced Games may have an opportunity to gain more well-known athletes. Once on a long-term suspension and aging out of the sport, there is a chance that some washed-up, dirty athletes will move over to the Enhanced Games.

Without the support of mainstream sponsors, broadcasters, ticket sales, merchandising and investors, the Enhanced Games will be washed up like Kerley, before long.
