Russell Pennock won the 2026 Comox Valley RV Half Marathon in a new personal best time of 65:30. He won by over five minutes, as defending champion Brandon Vail finished second.
Pennock will be debuting in the marathon at the BMO Vancouver Marathon on May 3, 2026. He is hoping to go well under two hours and 20 minutes and may toward the course record set in 2025 at 2:14:33.
