OTTAWA – Athletics Canada announced today a team of 42 athletes to compete at the IAAF World Junior Championships July 22 through 27 in Eugene, Oregon.
Carla Nicholls, World Junior Championships Head Coach; “I am thrilled to be heading the next generation of Canadian success at the IAAF World Junior Championships. This championship is pivotal in the career of our junior athletes, and in their pathway to high performance success. Many world class athletes begin their pathway to international success at the World Junior Championships.” Coach Nicholls adds; “The coach and support staff is well experienced and prepared to provide an environment that will allow these athletes to compete at their very best when it counts.”
