Pacific Distance Carnival
Athletics Canada’s National Track Tour kicked off with the Pacific Distance Carnival at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, BC (Vancouver). The Carnival took place on May 14 offering races over 200m, 800, 1500m, 5000m and 10,000m — attempting to harness the vibe from the Night of 10,000m PBs in London.

Johnny Loaring Classic
The Johnny Loaring Classic took place on May 21 in Windsor, ON. The meet is a World Athletics Continental Tour – Challenger Series. It is also meet number two of the National Track Tour.

The meet offered a full range of field events, sprints, and middle-distance racing in the 800m and 1500m distances.
The main events were the women’s and men’s 1500m races. The winners were Kate Current with her finish time of 4:13.22 and Rohan Nowbotsing, who clocked a 3:47.68 finish time.
