Russell Pennock of Kelowna, BC won the 2025 Royal Victoria Half Marathon on Sunday, October 12 in a new personal best time of 1:05:15. He battled Chris Taylor for a good portion of the race before dropping his and finishing ahead by 50 seconds.
Pennock is considering the California International Marathon in December or, due to concerns about his hamstring, waiting until spring of 2026.
