Jamaican sprinter, Christopher Taylor, has been suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit for 30 months due to evading, refusing or failing to submit a sample.
He was age 24 at the time. On November 16, 2022, he avoided having a sample taken when doping control officers arrived at his door at 6:00 AM, when he left for a booked flight set to leave at 8:00 AM.

Taylor will have to forfeit prize money, and medals and his results will be disqualified during the time, which dates back to Nov. 16, 2022. He is suspended until May 15, 2025.
Taylor competed in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games in both the 400m and 4 x 400m sprints, finishing in sixth place in both events. His 400m personal best is 44.63 from August 2022.
Taylor is questioning whether to continue with his athletics career saying that he wonders whether he “belongs in the sport.”
