American sprinter Isabella Whittaker continues to race well as she kicks off her professional career as an On brand athlete. She made her debut with the company in the Diamond League in Oslo, then followed up with in Stockholm, with back-to-back wins in the 400 metre event.

In Oslo at the Bislett Games, she won in a time of 49.58 on June 13. Two days later, she ran 49.78 seconds in Stockholm. She was the only athlete to run sub-50 seconds. Next up is the Paris Diamond League meet on June 20.

The 23-year-old competed for the University of Pennsylvania before transferring to the Arkansas Razorbacks. There, she won the NCAA Indoor Championships in March this year. She won in 49.24, which is the new American and North American indoor (short track) record.

The Whittaker family is athletic. Her sister Juliette is an Olympic finalist in the 800m event and is currently competing for Stanford. Her parents were also competitive college athletes.
