On, the Swiss-born global sportswear brand announces the signing of two more international athletes in Swiss sprinter Mujinga Kambundji, and triathlete Kat Matthews from Great Britain.

Kambundji

Kambundji, a two-time World Indoor and European Champion, has won multiple global titles, set national records from 60m to 200m, and earned two Swiss Sportswoman of the Year awards. She has had multiple Olympic final appearances in the 100m and 200m, solidifying her as one of the world’s elite sprinters.

A family affair

Kambounji joins her sister, World Champion Ditaji Kambundji, on the On global roster. For the first time, Switzerland’s highly formidable sporting sisters will be powered by the same Swiss technology, standing side by side as ambassadors for the brand. The partnership also comes at a defining moment in Kambundji’s personal life and career: following the birth of her first child, she is preparing for a return to the blocks soon.

“Mujinga is more than Switzerland’s fastest woman; she is a pioneer who redefined the landscape of Swiss athletics, carving a path so that the professional standards today’s athletes take for granted were made possible by her grit,” says Flavio Calligaris, Senior Director of Athlete Strategy and Partnerships at On. “At On, our partnership is built on taking that same trailblazing passion to give back to the athletics community, ensuring the next generation has the platform they need to succeed. As she returns to the blocks as a mother, we are proud to support her continued pursuit of medals on the world stage, proving that the greatest dreams are those we chase together, both on and off the track.”

The 33-year-old Swiss-born athlete owns personal bests of 60m 6.96 seconds, 200m, 22.05, and 100m, 10.89, all national records. Meanwhile, she has been a part of the 4 x 100m and 4 x 200m national record-running teams. Kambundji finished fourth in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the 4 x 100m event. She also won a bronze medal during the 2019 Doha World Athletics Championships in the 200m event.

Matthews

Kat Matthews is primarily a triathlete; however, as multi-sport athletes go, she has raced the individual events as well and boasts a 5km best of 16:05.

She has won at least seven international Ironman events and has earned silver at the World Ironman Championships three times.

The 34-year-old former Army physiotherapist established herself as an elite competitor since turning pro in 2019. Known for her resilience, she won the inaugural Ironman Pro Series in 2024, was the 2025 Ironman Pro Series winner, and is a multiple-time Ironman World Championship podium finisher.

“My career has been defined by a drive to see exactly how fast a human can go when they refuse to quit,” said Matthews. “From my days as an amateur to breaking world records, I’ve always looked for partners who share that obsession with progress. On’s commitment to Swiss-engineered innovation is the perfect match for my goals as I continue to push the boundaries of the sport.”

Beyond the podiums, Matthews is celebrated for her resilience. Her return to the elite level following a life-threatening training accident in 2022 remains one of the sport’s most powerful comeback stories. Her performance at the 2025 World Championships was a masterclass in run speed, where she set a historic course record of 2:47:23. Her ability to navigate recovery with the same precision she applies to her racing provides a deep source of inspiration for athletes globally.
