The Athletics Illustrated Person of the Week honours for the week of
November 2, 2020, goes to American athlete Molly Huddle.
Huddle, who already holds at least seven national records, set three more in one race on Sunday, November 1.
The two-time Olympian broke the 15,000m, 10-mile and one-hour records during her 60-minute run.
Huddle ran 50:07.82 and 53:49, respectively and covered 17,930m over the hour.
“The hope was more like 5:20 pace or dip a little under.”
Her pace through 10-miles was close at 5:23 per mile or 3:19 per km.
“The hour track record was a fun and different goal to help me get through the season.”
