Martin Hehir won The Marathon Project in Chandler, Arizona on December 20, 2020.
He finished in the new personal best time of 2:08:59. In this interview, he talks about the break after 20 miles, competitor Noah Droddy’s toughness (who finished second).
He also talks a little about Syracuse University and going to school with Justyn Knight and Colin Bennie. Hehir also discusses what is next for him.
Apparently, he is not done with his Tokyo Olympic dreams. He is a father of two young girls and a full-time student studying to become an anesthesiologist.
