Ugandan athlete Belinda Chemutai, already serving a three-year suspension for testing positive for testosterone or its metabolite androstane in 2023, was suspended for another three years.
The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) announced that her blood B sample was split and retested. First tested in the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) lab in Paris, this time it was the accredited lab in Lausanne.

Again, the sample tested positive, this time for testosterone decanoate.
Both times, the AIU offered her an opportunity to admit guilt, and doing so would reduce her term of suspension. She did, so she is suspended for another three years.
Testosterone decanoate is a Prohibited Substance under the WADA 2025 Prohibited List under the category S1.1 Anabolic Androgenic Steroids. It is a Non-Specified Substance prohibited at all times.
The 25-year-old has a 5000 metre personal best of 15:23.48.
