Victoria’s Brandon Vail, won the 2026 Royal Victoria Half Marathon in a big new personal best time of 65:35. His previous best was 68:31 from the Comox Valley RV Half Marathon in 2025.
The performance was well beyond his expectations.
Vail will next be racing the BC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 16 in Nanoose Bay, BC.
With his new, unexpected level of fitness he is now considering racing the Canadian Cross Country Championships in Quebec.
