The Global One-hour Virtual Race now includes an award for the most elevation gained during your one-hour race, male and female. You may not cover the most distance run with this effort, but you can enjoy winning a category. Are you a hill phenom? Live near a mountain?
There will also be a medal for top male and female who has the most elevation loss for the one hour, no limits, but you are entered into the downhill category.
During the 17-day window from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 17 to get your one-hour race in, if you wish to compete in the most distance accomplished category as well as one of the two elevation gain/loss categories – re-register for another $5 for each race-within-a-race.
We will list separate results in order of most distance covered, then separate results for the teams race (of five, see Team Competition) and we will list results in the order of most elevation gained and again in the most elevation lost.
Please state your intention by emailing email@example.com.
