Kenyans took the top four spots in the men’s race, with Vincent Kiptoo taking first place in a new course-record time of 59 minutes and 48 seconds.

Johana Erot finished second in 1:00:51, and Enos Kipruto Saat placed third in a time of 1:01:22.

The fastest Estonian was Leonid Latsepov, who placed fifth in 1:04:20.

Kenyan also took the top two spots in the women’s race. Regina Wambui Ndungu, who finished seventh overall, also won in a new Tallinn half‑marathon record time of 1:07:35. Winsam Jerono placed second in 1:10:29, and Morocco’s Soukaina Atanane finished third in 1:11:24.

The fastest Estonian woman was Pille Hinn, who finished sixth in 1:23:02.

More than 5000 people raced the event. There is also a marathon and a 10K on Sunday.
