On Saturday, June 15, defending champion Sasha Gollish of Toronto will return to the lululemon 10K in her home town to race against a robust field. She won the 2018 edition in the time of 33:05, which is her personal best.
Also in the race is Toronto’s Rachel Hannah who was the third woman in the 2019 Tamarack Ottawa Marathon in May – she owns a road 10K best of 33:08 (and a 32:33 on a non-certified course).
Leslie Sexton will also be running and is coming off of a personal best performance in the marathon. She became the 13th all-time fastest Canadian marathon runner with her performance of 2:31:51 at the Prague Marathon in May. Her 10K best is a very competitive 33:17.

On the men’s side, 2018’s second-place finisher Wendimu Adamu with the Toronto Olympic Club will be up against former national 10,000-metre record holder Cam Levins (27:07:51). Levins returns to the city of Toronto for the first time since breaking the Canadian marathon record at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon last fall, where he broke the 43-year-old time of 2:10:07 as set by Jerome Drayton at the Fukuoka Men’s Marathon . Levins ran a 2:09:25 performance.
U Sport Cross Country Champion (2017) Yves Sikubwabo will make the trip from Quebec City to race. Last year he set his 10,000m best in June at 29:47.14.
