Iowa native Will Norris and Jane Bareikis of Crestwood, Ill., won the 2025 edition of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon.
Norris won the men’s race in 2:15:41; Bareikis led the women to the finish line in 2:32:52.

Daniel Duehs of Cold Spring defended their nonbinary title in 3:09:53. Hermin Garic of Utica, N.Y. won the men’s push-rim wheelchair title with a time of 1:46:16 and Hannah Babalola of Chicago won the women’s crown in 2:21:47.

In the Medtronic TC 10 Mile, Yemane Haileselassi of Eritrea won with 46:24. Mercy Chelangat of Kenya won the women’s title in 52:04. Piper Bain of Minneapolis won their second consecutive nonbinary title in 1:11:27.
Norris owns a personal best of 2:12:33 from his sixth-place finish of the Twin Cities Marathon last year. Thirty-one-year-old Bareikis has a 2:29:00 best from the 2023 Berlin Marathon.
Dominic Ondoro of Kenya holds the men’s course record of 2:08:51 from the 2016 edition, which is his second-fastest performance all-time. He has run 2:08:00. Meanwhile, the fastest women’s time is 2:26:51 from the 2004 running, by Russian Irina Permitina.
Permitina set a world record for the fastest women’s half-marathon for masters over 40 with a time of 1:09:56 at the 2008 Russian Half-Marathon Championship. She finished just seconds behind the younger Olesya Syreva, despite her eventual doping violation leading to results removal up to 2011.

In total, 7025 runners finished the 26.2-mile (42.185 km) race from downtown Minneapolis to the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul. Another 9607 finished the 10-mile.
Across the two-day Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend, more than 30,000 people registered to participate.
