The 2024 World Mountain Running World Cup has an increased prize purse.
The World Mountain Association announced a calendar featuring 13 races in 10 events run over eight countries for the 2024 Valsir Mountain Running World Cup.

The competition will kick off in June next year where runners will head to Lake Tahoe in California for the Broken Arrow Skyrace.
Two Gold label races will take place over three days, starting with the short uphill on June 21 before the classic 23K on June 23. The final event of the season happens on October 13 on the Val Bregaglia Trail in Italy.
The association will step up the anti-doping cause with in-competition testing utilizing WADA-accredited anti-doping measures. Furthermore, in a bid to bolster athlete support, the organization has increased travel assistance and the overall prize pool, with the Valsir World Cup champions set to claim โฌ5,000 in 2024 ($7,305 CDN, $5,510 USD, ยฃ4,347, UGX 20,735).
