Charlie Lungelo Mlotshwa is new to Victoria, BC. The 14-year-old moved with his parents from South Africa two weeks prior to the race.
He is currently being coached by Bruce Deacon with the Prairie Inn Harrier’s Youth Team.
Charlie finished fourth in his first race in Canada in the 3000m distance.
