American 100m hurdler Kaila Barber from Cleveland was in Vancouver to compete in the 2022 Harry Jerome Track Classic. She finished second. Barber will be competing in the USATF Championships hoping to make the World Athletics Championships both happening in Eugene, Oregon at the new Hayward Field.
The 29-year-old competed for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. with her twin sister Jade.
She had spectacular indoor and outdoor track seasons during her final year that led to All-ACC and All-America performances and competed in 14 track meets.
