Three more big names are heading to the Novuna London Athletics Meet, with a trio of home favourites joining the world-class line-up at London Stadium on 18 July.

World champion Jake Wightman, European champion Laura Muir and World indoor champion Jeremiah Azu will take on some of the world’s best athletes in front of a packed home crowd.

With less than three weeks to go, more than 90% of tickets have been sold, and with these three new additions confirmed, the remaining seats are expected to go quickly.

For the first time since 2022, the Women’s Two Mile is back at The Prefontaine Classic on Saturday, July 4.

Prefontaine women’s two-mile

For the first time since 2022, the Women’s Two Mile is back at The Prefontaine Classic on Saturday, July 4.

Leading the field is world No. 4 Aleshign Baweke of Ethiopia. The reigning World Athletics U20 Championships 3000m champion and a member of Ethiopia’s 2026 World Cross Country Championships gold team enters Eugene with a blazing 8:26.29 personal best.

She’ll take on a stacked field of World Championship medalists, national record holders, and some of the fastest women in the world. See who’s lining up:

The Eugene Diamond League meeting will be streamed live worldwide, with coverage also available in selected countries via the event organizers’ YouTube channel. On Friday, live coverage is set to begin at 8:30 PM US Pacific (GMT-7), while the live action on Saturday will kick off at 1:00 p.m. PT.
