Yvonne Hayden won the 2022 BC Cross Country Championships with a come-from-behind effort.
She started in about sixth place and ended up passing the leader at the final corner before the straight-a-way that leads to the finish chute.
The Penticton Track and Field Club member also rock climbs and enjoys cross-country skiing.
